I was so honored to be asked to join in this celebration. I spoke with the groom upon arriving at the temple and he was just as clueless as I was about what was to happen and where I could stand. He did, however, inform me that no shoes were to be worn inside the building and I would shooting in my stocking feet. The love and pure adoration between these two was only diminished by the adorable concern of the groom about making a mistake during a ceremony done in a language he didn't speak. There was great beauty in the ceremony. Combining their lives with the symbols and traditions of ages past. They walked around the platform to take their first steps as husband and wife and then fed each other a banana.
I wish all the best to these two! Congratulations!

Kapri DurtschiFirst of all, thank you for visiting! I'm so glad to have you here! Let me tell you a little about myself and how I got started. I ran around with a camera as a child but it never occurred to me that photography could be a career. It wasn't until I was in college studying to become a veterinarian that I realized I would much rather be taking pictures and studying photography than anatomy. I shot my first wedding in 2008 and fell in love! I get lost in the magic every time! I branched out to shoot portraits and create fine art images soon after. I love my job and hope you'll let me share that with you! Archives
