Meet Mai and Ken, The sweetest couple ever. Their ceremony was filled with joy, love, sweet glances, a choked up groom and a giggling bride. The Tea ceremony was a beautiful tradition of bringing the families together. The groom's family offered gifts to the brides family and the groom and groomsmen proffered bouquets to the Bride and her lovely maids. The couple then served tea to the parents and grandparents of both families and accepted gifts as a couple. A prayer was said over a shrine to the grandparents who have passed from this life. The reception was loaded with friends and family offering toasts and congratulations, red envelopes passed to the bride and groom as they visited table after table. They are a couple well loved and who very deeply love each other! I wish them every happiness and the strength to have a lasting beautiful marriage!

Kapri DurtschiFirst of all, thank you for visiting! I'm so glad to have you here! Let me tell you a little about myself and how I got started. I ran around with a camera as a child but it never occurred to me that photography could be a career. It wasn't until I was in college studying to become a veterinarian that I realized I would much rather be taking pictures and studying photography than anatomy. I shot my first wedding in 2008 and fell in love! I get lost in the magic every time! I branched out to shoot portraits and create fine art images soon after. I love my job and hope you'll let me share that with you! Archives
