This past week I have been getting everything ready for my new little business to take off. I researched contracts and drafted one suited for my and my customers needs. I have been letting people know about the newly developed website you see here. And as always i have been building my portfolio. I only took about 75 new pictures this week which is an incredably low number for me. Usually I take 2 to 3 hundred. But the shots that i got are quite good. So this week was quality over quantity.

Kapri DurtschiFirst of all, thank you for visiting! I'm so glad to have you here! Let me tell you a little about myself and how I got started. I ran around with a camera as a child but it never occurred to me that photography could be a career. It wasn't until I was in college studying to become a veterinarian that I realized I would much rather be taking pictures and studying photography than anatomy. I shot my first wedding in 2008 and fell in love! I get lost in the magic every time! I branched out to shoot portraits and create fine art images soon after.
